A Delicious History

Gem Ravioli was founded in 1955 in Providence, Rhode Island. The founder relocated the business to the existing location in Johnston in the 1970's, and his recipes continue to be used to this day.

Throughout its long history, Gem Ravioli has been available in both retail and wholesale markets. An assortment of pasta and related products have been sold at the Johnston retail location and wholesale to stores, restaurants, and delicatessens throughout the state.

Gem Ravioli's products include:

  • Cheese ravioli
  • Meat ravioli
  • Gourmet filling ravioli (spinach & cheese, lobster ravioli, etc.)
  • Cavatelli
  • Tortellini
  • Linguine, angel hair, fettuccine and other such noodles

The Gem Ravioli name is extremely well-known throughout the state of Rhode Island. People equate the name with Italian tradition and speak passionately about the ravioli and pasta products.
